"除了中國超人外,我們還有更多經典電影系列角色將會推出! / In addition to China's Superman, we have more classic movie series role will be launched!“
Since my earlier feature of SUPER INFRA-MAN, PLAY Toy has further revealed their slate of Shaw Brothers titles to be (possibly) made into toy collectibles - in collaboration with Unbox Industries!
"Today at Toysoul it was announced that @playtoyhongkong & Unbox are working with the legendary Shaw Brothers on a range of products beginning with SUPER INFRAMAN aka CHINESE SUPERMAN. We will also be dipping into the murky SB horror movie back catalogue & of course visiting some classic Kung Fu epics throughout 2017." (via)
It is always a treat to see films translate into toys/collectibles, and very much so Asian films, as we’ve come to expect Western (mostly “American”) and even Japanese media to capitalize on their properties LOL

Ranging from the late-70s to the mid-90s, the films (visibly) listed are a mixed bag of comedy, horror and kung-fu flicks from Shaw Brothers’ archives - including “Out of the Dark”, “Love on Delivery” (both starring Stephen Chow), “The Mighty Peking Man”, “The Five Venoms”, “Masked Avengers”, “The Boxer’s Omen”, “Hex”, “Oily Maniac” and two well known martial arts films; “One-Armed Swordsman” (1967) and “The 36th Chamber of Shaolin” (1977)! Looks like there might be MORE to be had too … let’s just hope for collectors overseas, “availability” will not be too “restrictive” regionally, tho!

Meanwhile, as we await further information and reveals, scroll down check out some of the movies' trailers featured below!
