"Gemini Man" is a action-thriller starring Will Smith as "Henry Brogan", an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move. A cursory glance at the poster above, you'd recognise that that young man, is the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". heh.

The film is directed by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Ang Lee and produced by renowned producers Jerry Bruckheimer, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. Also starring are Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong. Gemini Man opens in U.S. theaters October 11, 2019. Check out the first trailer released;


Here's a little more information for the making of this film (courtesy of Wikipedia): "Gemini Man" is based on a concept by Darren Lemke, was originally sold to be produced by Walt Disney Pictures along with Don Murphy to produce and Tony Scott to direct in 1997. The film never progressed at Disney, though, as the technology wasn't developed enough in order for the film to be produced.

Lemke's screenplay has since been rewritten by multiple writers, and in 2016, Skydance Media acquired the film from Disney, with Jerry Bruckheimer as producer and Murphy as Executive Producer. Ang Lee was hired to direct the film for Paramount Pictures and Skydance in April 2017. The visual effects are provided by Weta Digital and Supervised by Bill Westenhofer. This film literally took 20 years to come to fruition.
