Official Trailer for OUTSIDE THE WIRE (On Netflix)

WHAT-IS: Set in the future, Harp (Damson Idris), a drone pilot, is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for Leo (Anthony Mackie), an android officer, tasked to locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do.



"Refreshing" that the android depicted here is not the one that needed to be "protected" (as most genre projects go), but is the one "in charge" = Now THAT's something I am interested in seeing. Look, they can dance now, so why not squeeze a trigger? (*OF COURSE there's more to that, I am just over-generalising, jeez :p)...

Clocking in at 1hour & 55minutes, "Outside the Wire" is directed by Mikael Håfström, and stars Anthony Mackie, Damson Idris, Emily Beecham and Pilou Asbæk (whom I remembered in "Ghost In The Shell"). Premieres January 15th on Netflix.
