"Squid Game: The Challenge" (A New Reality Show based on the Netflix Series)



With the announcement of Season 2 of SQUID GAME, Netflix announced "Squid Game: The Challenge" = A Netflix Reality competition series.

Casting now open at SquidGameCasting.com (below text via):

"With the largest cast in reality TV history, 456 real players will enter the game in pursuit of a life-changing cash prize of $4.56 million.
Do you have what it takes to win Squid Game?
For this round, the Front Man is in search of English-language speakers from any part of the world.
The stakes are high, but in this game the worst fate is going home empty-handed."




Curiosity got the better of me, and I clicked on the "Global Application" (For Non-US & Non-UK Applicants), which had the following prompts/requests:

- You have to be at least 21 years old at the time of applying for Squid Game: The Challenge.
- You are to upload a 1 minute video, telling them about yourself, why you want to be on Squid Game: The Challenge, what your game plan would be and what you would do with a huge cash prize if you won.
- To upload two recent photographs of yourself / "Headshots".

No further indications of HOW you'll be able to participate reality show. Will you be flown out all expenses paid to filming destination? Or will a set-up be constructed in your own country for you to participate in? I'll imagine that would be ideal, with each final contestant for each country to finally flown into a singular locale where everyone competes against each other?

Oh dear, I am spending way too much time thinking into this, aren't I? LOL

The 10-episode competition series is a co-production between Studio Lambert and The Garden, and will be filmed in the U.K. (Source).
