A Visit to MBC Dream Center




Found online is a literal paid tour to explore the MBC Dream Center in Goyang (the largest indoor studio in the country), which is available to book on klook.com and/or seoultravelpass.com, with 2 options available: "MBC DRAMA STUDIO One Day Tour" and "MBC DRAMA STUDIO + Drama Rehearsal Visit Tour". Def a "go-to" if ever I head to South Korea...!



With my years in our local broadcast station, and the years outside of it but in the media industry, I've barely designed any notable studio sets for "television drama" (even though I had designed & art directed for features films), focusing primarily on "variety / performing" stages instead, and have always been fascinated and interested in said studio-design for tv shows.

That said, seeing overhead studio lighting rigs and studio equipment always leaves a lingering sense if missing the insanity... but only a sliver tho ~ Heh.
