Film Review: Guardians of the Galaxy

MARVEL's "Guardians of the Galaxy" feature film was "effortless" and a sheer joy to watch and be entertained. Well worth your time and money, whatever your preferences may be. A comedy, a sci-fi space actioneer romp, in that order. MARVEL has a surefire winner here - Big Ups for Geekdom! "Effortless" because you'd go with whatever's going on, without a need to question anything. A talking raccoon. An emo lovable tree (the closing scene so cute can die!~). A destroyer with a heart. An assassin who thinks the world of "Kevin Bacon". And Peter Quill, a hero by necessity and default, a hero for the new millennium. @JamesGunn rocked the spaceways! Can't wait to see what happens next!

OTHER ADDITIONAL COMMENTARY:

- Thanos appears longer on-screen than I imagined.

- There is a closing scene before the credits roll which you will not miss, so no worries. It is utterly adorable and I'll imagine it may possibly become a merchandise later - not released earlier so as not to spoil the story, of course

- There is a End Credits sequence right after ALL the film credits have rolled, and if I had known what it was, I would not have wasted my time and made a dash for the loo when I really needed to go … And if I needed to explain the reference for you, then you are too young for it, and "life" continues on beautifully without it.
