Karate Kid ReAction Figures from Funko x Super7

Released and currently available at both the Super7 store in San Francisco and newly opened San Diego storefront, are blister-carded ReAction figures from Funko x Super7 - showcasing characters from the movie "KARATE KID" (FYI: The 80s version, not that the Jackie Chan + Jaden Smith version from 2010 :p).

'ReAction" figure designs are based on the 80s aesthetics of toy figures, which included simple articulation, no bended knees (sorry you can;t pose "Daniel" in his "crane" kungfu-training move, folks LOL) and utilitarian face sculpts (and I am being utterly "kind" with my description here ... lol), wholly unlike the "mini-mes" on toy shelves today! Pretty awesome a "retro/vintage" line of figures, without the secondary market hyped-upped prices, of course … but then again, different folks might differ in prices …

6 x characters to collect in the current "Karate Kid" series - including Mr Miyagi, Daniel (in two guises) - with each priced at US$9.99 in-store and online via www.super7store.com. Check in with your fav retailer(s) for availability near you :)

"The Karate Kid is a 1984 American martial arts romantic drama film directed by John G. Avildsen and written by Robert Mark Kamen, starring Ralph Macchio, who was 22 years old during principal photography. Noriyuki "Pat" Morita and Elisabeth Shue.[3][4] It is an underdog story in the mold of a previous success, Avildsen's 1976 film Rocky. It was a commercial success upon release, and garnered favorable critical acclaim, earning Morita an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor." (Wiki)
So what happens when Karate Kid meets Star Wars? Mr Miyagi might give Yoda a run with his words of wisdom tho ... :)
