INVISIBLE STORIES Premieres August 3rd on HBO in USA

A U.S. premiere date has been announced for HBO's "INVISIBLE STORIES", along with the official U.S. trailer for the 6 episode half-hour anthology drama about life in Singapore, which will launch August 3rd in the USA (Available to stream on HBO and HBO Max).

"Uncover the triumphs and tragedies of 6 different migrant workers living in Sungai Merah, one of Singapore's public housing communities. HBO Asia presents Invisible Stories, a compelling six-episode half-hour anthology drama that explores the less glamorous side of Singapore premiering August 3 in the U.S.."

The series first premiered earlier this year (January on hbogoasia.com) in Asia, but is now made available in the U.S.. I've also added a behind-the-scenes featurette (below), which I had featured previously.

Each episode follows a dedicated fictional protagonist, who live in a fictional estate called "Sungei Merah", although we do not see their individual lives intertwine. We follow their point-of-view of a island country that which is Singapore, that is not all flash-and-bright-sunny-smiles of "Crazy Rich Asians" LOL

Invisible Tales is created by Ler Jiyuan. "Ler created the series with a team of local writers. Singapore-based outfit Birdmandog produced. The series is part of a two-year partnership with Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), by which a series of workshops and collaborations with local companies and talent on HBO Asia Original productions aims to develop the content production capabilities of the country’s media industry."
