#MilitaryProsecutorDoberman (군검사 도베르만) Premieres Feb28 on tvN (March 1 on VIU)

"Military Prosecutor Doberman" (군검사 도베르만) is an upcoming 16-episoder series coming to tvN, with the pilot episode premiering February 28th (takes over tvN's Monday & Tuesday 22:30 time slot previously occupied by "Ghost Doctor").

Written by Yoon Hyun-Ho (2018's "Lawless Lawyer", and Winner of "Best Screenplay" ("The Attorney") at the 2014 (51st) Daejong Film Awards), Jin Chang-Gyu directs Ahn Bo-Hyun (last seen in "My Name") and Jo Bo-Ah (last seen in "Tales of the Nine Tailed").

From the teaser trailer (seen below), the series will be watchable in Singapore/Asia via VIU.com from "March 1st"...!

When I first saw teasers and stills, my immediate reaction was: "Oh they are riffing off "D.P."..., which seems slightly different in the show synopsis (reposted below), which I do not doubt the success of D.P. helped push approval along...? Purely speculation on my end of course, but I am keen on the theme (I enjoyed Lawless Lawyer thanks), and this looks fun, least of all the utterly-gorgeous Jo Bo-Ah in short hair (Yes, I am the "dog" here OMG) :p

Synopsis for "Military Prosecutor Doberman" (via Viu Singapore):
"Do Bae Man (Ahn Bo Hyun) lost his parents when he was only 8, and tried really hard to craft his own success. He became a military prosecutor to make more money and be successful. As a military prosecutor, he’s well qualified and perfect at seeing through a criminal’s psychology.

Cha Woo In (Jo Bo Ah) recently joining Bae Man’s team for her own vendetta. She comes from a privileged background and aspires to uphold truth and justice. Both individuals have very different backgrounds, personalities and purposes. However, as they work on the same case, Bae Man and Woo In help each other and learn to grow together as fine military prosecutors."
