"The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" Premieres March 2 on Netflix

And here I was stressing out how I would be able to watch this South Korean feature, when lo-n-behold, it's coming to Netflix, premiering "March 2nd"? Witness the trailer (which we've seen below, but with English subs):

SYNOPSIS: "A gutsy crew of Joseon pirates and bandits battle stormy waters, puzzling clues and militant rivals in search of royal gold lost at sea."

The sequel to 2014's "The Pirates", this action adventure film about a sea battle between pirates, bandits, and pioneers who search for a seal that disappeared in a whale attack before the founding of the Joseon Dynasty. (Text & credits screengrab via IMDb).

Directed by Jeong-hoon Kim, written by Chun Sung-il, in my previous features on POPCORNX, there had been different titles; "The Pirates 2". "The Pirates: Goblin Flag"... but let's go with "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" for the Netflix incarnatio, cheers.

The 2hour+ feature film was released on IMAX format on January 26, 2022 coinciding with Korean New Year holiday. Now I would be able to see Han Hyo-joo on the small-screen, and I am fine with that ~ *blush*
