TOP TEN BLOGPOSTS on POPCORNX for 2021

POPCORNX started as a companion-blog to TOYSREVIL, dedicated to films and television happenings - for which I had been posting about for some time on TOYSREVIL, but decided to put them in a separate dedicated blog instead = A decision I struggled with for many years too, as in my ideal world, TOYSREVIL would encompass all medias plus the designer toy culture (We'll see what "2022" holds)... meanwhile, THESE are the TOP TEN BLOGPOSTS on POPCORNX for the entirety of 2021, as recorded in this blog's internal stats, and presented here for your reading and click-thru considerations, thank you!

#10 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Watch the 2nd Official Trailer & Poster for "Coming 2 America", premiered March 5, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. Featured above however is the first trailer of the film I meant to see, but somehow got shuffled til the back of the bus.

I do not feature a whole lot of Amazon-shows on POPCORNX, as a lot of them fall beyond my "usual" genre-bias, or simply just not as keen on their program slate was I'd persponally like to be, although "accessibility" to info is pretty decent, IMHO. Check out coverage HERE on POPCORNX!

#9 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Check out my coverage for New Poster & Installation in South Korea for the phenomenal "SQUID GAME" series on Netflix - which has seen some pretty darn decent eyeballs this year, but interestingly only ONE blogpost got into the year's TOP TEN... CLICK HERE for all coverage pop the South Korean streaming series on POPCORNX!

#8 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Ever so often, I'd have crossover blog-features with TOYSREVIL, specifically when it comes to "entertainment/media"-related releases or custom, in this specific case, the one only CUSTOM COLLECTIBLE feature, with "The Child" 1/1 Custom by Jared Circusbear (exhibited apart of "Misappropriated Icon 4" group show @ Strangecat Toys Gallery). Do stay connected to the artist's Instagram and jaredcircusbear.com for more looks into his toy-art...!

#7 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Nothing like a (country) localised focus, and especially the judicious usage of SINGLISH in these Raya and the Last Dragon SG Character Posters for animated film RAYA & THE LAST DRAGON!

#6 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Marvel Studios’ What If…? "Moment" Spot & New Posters for what I'd felt was my FAVOURITEST Mposted my fair share of content, including more oh so much more POSTERS, and as "importantly", ramifications felt in the reel-world Marvel Cinematic Universe...!

#5 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Meet "Starlight" (from "The Boys" - Possible #SPOILERS in commentary) featuring actress Erin Moriarty, with this post circa 2019, leading to the first season of THE BOYS on Amazon Prime. Ms Moriarty is a sweetheart, and you can't tell me otherwise, cheers.

#4 & #3 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021 featured my reviews for "ALICE IN BORDERLAND" streaming series on Netflix: Review (Episodes 1-4) + Rate & Review (Episodes 5-8) respectively!

Without a doubt, these features were revived from 2020 due to SQUID GAME's popularity, and folks comparison to similar-themed/genre programming, which I personally prefer a little bit more to Squid, but that's just me...

*CLICK HERE for continued coverage of ALICE IN BORDERLAND, and stay psyched for SEASON TWO....!

#2 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Featured above is Opening Credits for WARRIOR (theme by H. Scott Salinas & Reza Safinia) on Cinemax, while you van check out the Ending Songs HERE, probably spurred on this Top Ten list from interest of Season 2 of the series, which I'd started but never managed to continue my watch nor finish, before Season 3 was announced to head to HBO Max (with the "ceasing production of original programming" on Cinemax).

#1 TOP TEN BLOGPOST ON POPCORNX for 2021

>>> Featured above is Official Netflix Trailer for "THE YIN-YANG MASTER: DREAM OF ETERNITY" a Chinese epic fantasy film (Based on Japanese novel "Onmyōji") directed by Guo Jingming, starring Mark Chao and Deng Lun. Premiered exclusively on Netflix starting February 5, 2021, I actually managed to watch this over Chinese Lunar New Year period in 2021, and enjoyed it! And seems - based on it's placing in the year's Top Ten - folks were interested in this genre of programming...! In lieu of a "review", here instead is a "VFX Showreel" from Dexter Studios.
