Official Stills Reveal & EW Cover to DC's SHAZAM!

In anticipation of the trailer release at the San Diego Comic Con 2018 (July 18-22), Entertainment Weekly has since revealed a series of 'official' images/stills, along with a cover to their SDCC-issue featuring DC's upcoming super hero live action feature film; "SHAZAM!"


Directed by David Sandberg, Zachery Levi stars as the titular hero - named "Captain Marvel" in the comicbooks (yes, a direct clash with Marvel's ... I wonder how they'll gonna treat that?) - while also seen here is Disney Channel star Asher Angel as 14-year-old "Billy Batson" (Cap's alter ego - he shouts the word "Shazam!" and transforms to the "Big Red Cheese") with his handy-capable buddy "Freddy Freeman", played by Jack Dylan Grazer.


Described as "Superman" meets "Big" (a 1988 American comedy film starring Tom Hanks as Josh Baskin, a young boy who makes a wish "to be big" and is then aged to adulthood overnight, BUT retains his mind/memories) - looks like Billy retains his childhood "innocence/demeanor" even when he transforms into the riduculously-muscled superhero - all the while clad in a distinctly BRIGHTER color palette than the one we have seen in ZackSynder's previously released "Man of Steel", "Batman v Superman" and "Justice League" (*Which I all enjoyed - I like "variety"). Looking forward to the trailer!
