Official Trailer for NIGHT IN PARADISE (on Netflix)
Since my earlier posted teaser (plus stills), the full trailer for South Korean feature "NIGHT IN PARADISE" has been released.
The oft touted and described "noir" mood is certainly intriguingly alluring here, as a very interesting juxtaposed notion, as "Jeju Island" has been a much touted destination spot for South Korean locals! Looking forw3ard to watching this...!
From Park Hoon-jung (director of “New World” & “The Witch: Part 1"), this moody-look noir-ish drama stars Um Tae-goo ("The Age off Shadows"), Jeon Yeo-been ("Vincenzo"), and Cha Seung-won ("A Korean Odyssey") ... this 2hour & 12minuter feature first had "it's world premiere on September 3, 2020 at the 77th Venice International Film Festival" (Source) and is now scheduled to premiere April 9th only on Netflix.
"Escaping from the fury of a rival gang to Jeju Island, Tae-gu thinks he’s just there to lay low until things blow over. But things are never that simple in the underworld, and he soon finds that his actions have consequences—one that threatens to follow him to the refuge he’s found with his new friend on the verge of death.".
